He was born in 1898 and died in 1993. It's funny, because much like others like Florence Shovel Schinn, he was way ahead of his time. He was teaching the concept of mindset in the early 1900's.
I first discovered the works of Norman Vincent Peale in my 20's, quite by accident.
I was in an antique shop in Kansas while visiting my Mom. I LOVE vintage books, and found a whole stack of old, faded, very worn, very small thin paperback books. They were all books by Norman Vincent Peale. It wasn't until I got home that I began thumbing through them, and realized coming across them was no accident. I devoured them then went on to purchase through the years everything of his I could get my hands on. The Power of Positive Thinking and The Power of Positive Living are two that most everyone had heard of, but there were at least 20 others.
